Mitchell’s “Yes” Sells Out District for Obama and Pelosi

Despite Overwhelming Opposition to Healthcare Bill, Mitchell Confirms He’s a “Yes”

After weeks of speculation, Congressman Harry Mitchell confirmed that he is going to ignore the will of his own constituents and vote YES on the healthcare bill.

In displaying all that is wrong with politics in Washington, Mitchell has chosen to side with the far left and push through healthcare legislation supported by President Obama and Speaker Pelosi, yet opposed by the majority in his own district.

“I am incredibly disappointed in Congressman Mitchell’s decision,” said David Schweikert. “He had a chance to stand up for his own constituents and send a message that his vote is not for sale, but in deciding to support this incredibly unpopular legislation, he has shown that the millions of dollars spent by liberal special interests on his behalf came with a price. And that price is a YES vote on the healthcare bill.”
